"I just talked to Sickbay," Huxil said, from his place in front of Tam's desk. The Chief Engineer had another relapse down Memory Lane and so he retreated to his office. As acting captain, he had an example to set to the rest of the crew.

"What did Dr. Ramak say?"

"Nothing. I talked to one of her nurses."

Gallen nodded, looking back at his padd. He had been working on a new solution to their problems. The stress on the ship's hull had been alleviated by the new shields but they were only a stop-gap measures. The small amounts of anti-chronitons in the new formula wasn't enough to keep them safe.

"Keep asking for updates. Any physical reactuons could tell us how time is changing around us." The Trill felt nauseous from all of the temporal waves and the symbiont wasn't liking it either. Remembering all of those past lives in a variety of minutes was stressful for both of them.

He paused for a moment, taking a sip from the water glass on his desk. "Any good news? Or are you still expecting the impossible from me?"

"I'd be impressed if you pulled a rabbit out of your fez soon. " The Denobulan motioned towards the fez on his couch. He sighed. "The Cardassian ship is detoriating faster than Sovereign is. Should we beam them aboard?"

"That might be tricky. The..." Tam paused. "Why not go deeper into the anomaly? And at warp speed..."

"Are you crazy?"

"I've called mad before. Today... I'm madder than usual..." Tam rose from his chair and started out of the office, the assistant chief engineer falling into step behind him.
"All of Time and Space; everywhere and anywhere; every star that ever was. Where do you want to start?"

"Geronimo!"

(Excerpt from my Sickbay post.)

"Doctor!" one of the duty nurses alerted.
" What?!" she returned.
" Engineering would like an update on our status. They would like to be notified of anything that could possibly help us escape this anomaly and protect the crew."
"And they will know everything," Kala responded, with a touch of aggravation in her voice," when I do. Kindly, inform Engineering that Captain Dawnter has been treated for temporal psychosis; Lieutenant McCormack has been treated for two broken ribs and severe chest burns. He will be on duty in 12 hours; Lieutenant Riojj? I will have to keep the apprised.."

Kala quickly turned her attention back to her work. The chroniton levels had fallen to just below seventeen percent and was within safety limits, but Ramak wanted to be sure.
"Continue anti-chroniton burst. I want them completely irradiated."
Santura's console beeped in a shrill and horrid alarm, " Her transmitters are dropping fast ..."

Kala switched the regeneration device into her left hand and began to work the console with her right. " Begin a neural stabilization series. Start with 2cc doses of Hyronalin and alternate between Alkysine. That should begin to counter the affects of the chronitons."

After several more minutes of pain stacking work the chronitons had dropped below one percent and Lieutenant Riojj's life signs had returned to normal.

" Give her a sedative and allow her to rest on bio-bed one. When she wakes up let me know." Kala deactivated her regeneration device and swiftly returned to get updates on her other patients. All seemed well, but what caused harmless chronitons to begin to harm living tissue- that was the real mystery.

[Sickbay to Engineering. I recommend we flood the shield bubble with anti-chronitons. If you create an inverse bubble that would saturate the ship with anti-chronitons. It would certainly slow, if not stop, the occurring damage. Sickbay, out.]

Tam heard the Chief Medical Officer's advice and he rolled his eyes. He was already pumping anti-chronitons into the new shield matrix formula. 'Why wasn't it working?,' he asked himself while he looked over sensor readings recorded by the Captain's Yacht. It was like the ship was separated into sections by the temporal field.

"This should be--" The Trill felt another wave of temporal energy flood over him and his stomach grew nauseous. Tam turned and vomited, his last meal polluting the deck.

"Gallen?," Huxil asked, barely missing the gastric explosion. "Are you all right?"

"We need to get out of this temporal anomaly." Tam looked at his friend. "How are the Cardassians doing?"

"Their ship is failing as we speak. Counselor Holden is overseeing their evacuation to the Sovereign, sir." The Denobulan paused for a moment. "Should I have a medic come and check on you and Junior? I'm no doctor but..."

Tam glared at him before he returned his attention to the Game Table. Tapping in a few commands, the Trill increased the anti-chronitons going into the shields and the structural integrity field. A few minutes passed and he saw that the chroniton radiation was fading quickly.

"What the bloody...," he murmured, looking at an ensign across the table from him. "Hurry! Access the helm controls and--"

The Ensign nodded, her hands moving across her display. "Aye, sir, I'm on it! Fixing main thrusters!"

"Were moving!," Huxil confirmed.

"Increase speed, and get us out of the cloud."

"Yes, sir," Huxil said,"... Captain."

(I probably fucked up. I apologize. I was literally stuck.)

Gallen Tam walked out of the turbolift and back into chaos. The environmental controls felt off and the Trill could swear a cold breeze blew past him.

"Huxil," he demanded," what the bloody hell are you doing down here? Having a snow day?"

The Denobulan chuckled, looking up from his monitor. "It seems that the temporal waves have interrupted some of the environmental circuitry. I'm attempting to remedy it now."

"Grab a jacket. Christmas is cancelled. " Tam joined Huxil at the master situation table. "We need to increase power to the structural integrity field and the temporal shielding. Any thoughts or should I be shaking a tree for answers?"

Huxil just looked at him in awe. 'Oh, so I'm suddenly the "big idea guy"?,' the husky assistant engineer asked himself.

Tam thought for a moment and smiled back. He kissed his friend's forehead. "Oh, you're a genius, Hux! Brilliant!"

"A temporal solar sail! We collect the energy being pummeled at us by the anomoly to power our systems and get us out of here! Oh, I coukd kiss you but your wives would object and the doctor would want to give me another lecture about the "birds and the bees". Anyways... let's get to work."

The intercom chirped. "Yaren to Tam."

Tam tapped his combadge. "Hold on, dear. I'm just seeing to Sexy, right now. Have a coffee and get off your feet. I've got this, Commander." The Trill tapped his combadge and smiled again. "Kids... the more they ask, the more they beg, Daddy's got to save them."

(Geronimo!)

{Playing as Ensign Jaaron Jude}

Ensign Jaaron Jude tapped away at his small console with speed and accuracy, making sure not to miss a single control as he tried his hardest to make sure the warp field wouldn’t collapse inside the anomaly. Being a Warp Theory major at the Academy was saving his butt at the moment, but thoughts like these come after the chaos in his mind. Jaaron, without flaw, maintained the fluctuating field with his left hand, while his right swiftly fluttered over programming controls. Soon enough, his program was running at peak efficiency, analyzing external energy and comparing it to the warp field while changing its frequency on its own, without the help of an engineer to tame it.

Then came a tap on his grey-padded shoulder. He swirled around, first only seeing emerald eyes beaming in the light of his warp field control panel. Darkened rings of skin flew up from his neck and into his hairline, which, at the moment, was disheveled as awry. Before the Ensign opened his mouth to speak, his Chief Engineer pondered, “You are the warp field specialist, right?"
Whatever it is, it feels like it's staring at me through the glass of a two-sided mirror. Whatever it is, it's just sitting' there, laughing at me.

I request Level 3 Critique on anything in the Critique section. :D

Gallen Tam waited for the Ensign to speak before rolling his eyes.

"Okay, shut up! And just listen. I need you to change the harmonic frequencies of the warp field to a frequency of 973.4," the Trill said, smiling. "And don't worry, it might not be in the Big Bad Red Book of Regulations but it'll work."

"And if it doesn't?," Huxil called out from the master situation table behind him.

Tam turned towards the Denobulan. "Then we won't be here to hear you bitch about it, will we?"

Sovereign'schief engineer walked over to the warp core and patted it. "Don't worry, sexy. Everything is going to be all right." He walked back over to the MSD table and looked at his assistant. "Bring down the isolation door and have the damage control teams report in. I have several tasks for them."

"Gallen," Huxil said, looking at his spotted friend," the ship's following apart. We should abandon ship before we become a part of history."

"I've seen plenty of history, my friend. I'd like to see some more." Tam began running simulations into the engineering computer. "But the fun part... is in the making of history."

"Oh, is it?," a familiar voice said from the nearest turbolift. Gallen turned and it was Captain Dawnter.
"All of Time and Space; everywhere and anywhere; every star that ever was. Where do you want to start?"

"Geronimo!"
