The Star Trek Photomanipulation Archive Forums
STPMA is here for the sharing of photomanipulations (and techniques) and providing constructive criticism. The point in coming here is to have fun.
Ask an artist for permission to use his or her image before using it. Do not claim someone else's image as your own.
Religion and politics are off limits as topics for discussion.
Adult images, stories, and humor are allowed only in Adult Swim. You must be 18 or older to join. See that forum's description to sign up.
Insults, personal attacks, being abusive, rude, or posting only to provoke will not be tolerated. Expect a warning if you do any of these. Be respectful and polite toward other members. If you disagree with someone, do so gracefully. Being nasty toward someone will only get you a warning and/or ban. Remember, we're here to have fun, not engage in verbal combat.
Spam, trolling, flaming, racial or ethnic slurs, and discussion of software or music piracy are not allowed.
Please leave the moderating to the moderators. While a quick "Dude, I'm not a Mod, but maybe you should look at the rules." from a single person is okay, an individual or a group pounding away at someone for their error is not. If you see a problem post, the best way to handle it is to PM a Mod or Admin, or use the report post button.
No one has a right to the last word. If a mod/admin tells you to move along and you continue to post in the same manner, expect a three day ban, and to have your “last word” post deleted. If you have a problem with a post use the “report this post” button, or contact a mod or admin.
If a signature is inappropriate (violating any of the rules above), it may be removed by an admin without notice. If you continually have inappropriate signatures, expect to lose the privilege. Please note, signature banners are limited to a size of 100px high by 500px wide.
We reserve the right to ban anyone who willfully violates the forum rules.
The admins and moderators will act as they see fit to preserve a friendly atmosphere on STPMA. If you disagree with a moderator's call, contact them via PM. Do not start a debate about it in the forums. Doing so will result in a warning. Also, don't get into a long PM debate with a moderator. They will explain their call, but if that isn't enough for you, expect the moderator to forward further PMs to Michael.
If you have any questions contact Michael or Quo by PM.
