Player searching for a TOS-era game
I'm an experienced gamer, looking for a PbP that takes place during those rough-and-tumble good old days when the Klingons, to quote Voltaire, "dressed in gold lame'," and the Captains talked with their fists as much as their faces, and episodes ended with a smile when they abadoned the only entity on the planet to a lonely immortal existance. Sure, that last example was from the Animated Series, but still, I think you get the point.
Women in short dresses! Gorns! Warp 14!
In a perfect world this game would also be for the 18 and over crowd and be capable of dealing with adult situations involving grown-ups (physically and emotionally), and the avatars would be created by the amazing talent I've seen here.
Does anything like that exist? If not, would anyone be interested in helping me set something up?

Would you be doing an all new crew or the Enterprise crew? I would be totally interested in either I suppose.

All-new. Kirk & Co. have had their fun lots of other places. There doesn't seem to be any such animal as this at the moment, however.

It's funny how the popularity of TOS games comes and goes. Back in the day when I ran mine, there may have been 1 or 2 others, but a few months later there were a dozen games and a whole fleet dedicated to just TOS games. Most didn't seem to last very long and it didn't take long for the number to fall back down to just a few. Still, I think it's a fun era to play in because I think you have more freedom to just have campy fun.

Nice site. Are you the one responsible for creating this?

It's been a while since I last Simmed (what a great way to avoid studying at uni), but I would be interested in starting up again. Any more details?
Cheers,

Great-looking site! Is it still live? The last calendar date for a post is July 25.

July 25 was the in-game date. I don't remember what the actual date was, but that last post was entered many years ago. The Eagle's been dead for quite some time.
